Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr.

In 1972, Dr. Leroy Thompson was born  again in September and water baptized in October. He was called into the ministry on December 30, l973, and ordained May 24,1975.

To effectively execute the call on his life, he attended Christian Bible College of Louisiana where he earned Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate of Theology Degrees and Doctorate of Divinity. To further enhance his training, he taught at his Alma mater for several years.

Dr. Thompson has been in the ministry for 24 years, Pastoring for 22 of them. With all degrees in retrospect, he still did not know victory, according to God's standards, until he was exposed to the Word of Faith through the Ever-Increasing Faith and Kenneth Hagin Ministries.

In the fall of 1983 he was baptized with the Holy Ghost and his life catapulted. He captured the knowledge of the truth richly exhibited in the powerful Word of God. Knowing who he is in Christ, what belongs to him, and what he can do in Christ has burst forth a new creation. His ministry has been Ever-Increasing!

In 1984, he was instructed by the Spirit of God to change the name of the church from Mt. Zion Baptist Church (a 104 years old traditional Baptist church) to Word of Life Christian Center. He began teaching people how to live the life of faith; how to "walk by faith, not by sight; how to be well and not sick; how to live and not die; how to keep the devil under their feet; how to live the victorious abundant life in Christ Jesus; and how to be led by the Spirit of God." Church membership at that time was 75, majority being children. Membership has grown to 1700 and has tripled the population of Darrow.

He not only believes but he also knows that the keys to a successful ministry are the combination of praying in the spirit; living and teaching the Word of Faith; and following after the leadership of the Holy Ghost. He is married to Carolyn A. Thompson. They have four children, Leroy, Jr., Shauna, Donovan, and Clayton.

It wasn't until 1994 when he received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, that revelation knowledge of God's Word changed his life and continued to increase his ministry. He still did not know victory, according to God's standards, until he was exposed to the Word of Faith through the ministry of Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr.-Ever Increasing Word Ministries.

Pastor Brown attributed the success of his life and ministry to relying on the Word of God, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and being led by the Spirit of God.  Pastor Brown travels throughout the Southeast taking the message of Restoring the Generational Blessing in the Body of Christ."

Lois Moore believed that God commissioned them to raise up a Word of Faith Church in the city and the gates of hell could not stop them.

Pastor Moore, Sis. Moore and the HTBC family believe they are raised up for such a time as this and they are positioned to reap the great Harvest of Souls throughout the world.  The name Harvest Time reflects the overall vision of the church.

Pastor Jeffrey G. Phillips

Pastor Jeffrey Glenn Phillips, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was born and reared in the Eden Park area.  Since accepting the call of God upon his life to preach, and prior to being called to pastor, he has served in various ministerial capacities and offices including the offices of deacon and elder, and working with the street ministry, nursing home ministry and male chorus.

In early 1990, Pastor Phillips' business was called upon to lay the foundation for the new sanctuary at Pilgrim Rest Faith Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which was under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Budgwater. God later spoke to Pastor Budgewater and instructed him to pass the pastoral mantle on to Pastor Phillips. By divine purpose and design, in 1997, Pastor Phillips became the Pastor of the very same church that he laid the physical foundation for. During his eleven years as Pastor, the church has become one of the fastest growing ministries in the City of Baton Rouge.

Though he walked the streets of "The Park" for many years before he was saved, God has now commissioned Pastor Phillips to go back to those very streets and take back the community for the Glory of God, declaring "Jesus is Lord over Eden Park."

Pastor Phillips received ministerial training and graduated from The Ever Increasing Word Training Center at Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, Louisiana, which is under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr.

God has given Pastor Phillips a worldwide ministry vision, and the vision is being fulfilled at a supernaturally rapid pace.  A part of that worldwide vision was to change the name of the church from Pilgrim Rest Faith Ministries to World Shakers Church International, a ministry that is "Building People of Character One Life
at a Time to Shake the World with the Word of God."

Pastor Phillips met, courted and married his childhood sweetheart, First Lady Wilma Phillips, who is a native and former resident of Napoleonville, Louisiana. Of this divine union of 29 years, they have been blessed with three children and four grandchildren.

To the World Shakers family Pastor Phillips is known as Pastor "P".  Many lives have been blessed by his anointed, unique, bold and radical style of ministering.  He is truly a "Joshua" for this end-time harvest.  As God pours out His anointing upon the man of God; miracles, signs and wonders are being witnessed, and an anointing of prosperity and supernatural debt cancellation has manifested throughout the ministry.  The lost are
being saved through tent revivals, street witnessing, youth ministry, prison ministry, and other outreach services are in place to minister to those beyond WSCI's congregation.

Pastor Phillips is the founder and President of the World Shakers Church International Bible Institute, where men and women of God of all ages and from all walks of life come to receive anointed teaching and impartation, thus equipping them to effectively impact the Body of Christ and the world.

God has placed an anointing upon Pastor Walker's life to walk in prosperity and to release that same anointing upon others who dare to obey the principles revealed in the scriptures. The opposite of what some might call the "Preachers Kid" stereotype, Donavan never strayed away from the watchful eye of his father and guiding hand of his mother.

He started singing at the age of 13, developing himself by becoming a part of the church choir and experimenting with studio equipment. He was called to the ministry at the age of 17 and shortly thereafter began touching the lives of youth with his preaching and singing.

Donavan attended Louisiana State University for a short period of time, before working full-time on staff at Word of Life Christian Center where he currently serves as the director of the music department and youth pastor. As president of God Ordained Records ("G.O"), Donavan is demonstrating that he is a well-rounded artist who knows both sides of the industry; spiritual and business. Donavan has gained a lot of his experience by traveling with his father during ministry meetings, where he is sometimes asked to sing before his father ministers. He has traveled to many places, in and out of the United States, gaining a following even before the release of his first CD.

As a minister of the gospel, Donavan uses his musical abilities to accompany the Word of God that he teaches and lives.
