Dr. Thompson teachingThe mission of LTMA is to create an atmosphere for growth! Whether you are in the infant stages of ministry or you have been in ministry for a while, LTMA is structured to be a benefit to whomever God is still using!

LMTA's motto is "Lighting the Torch of Ministries Around the World."  Some know they're supposed to be in ministry but don't know where to begin.  Then there are some that have been in ministry for a while and have hit a plateau in ministry. This leads to struggles in ministry and nothing that God asks you to do should lead to struggle.

The objective of LTMA is to facilitate the two-way relationship of giving and receiving between the visionary, Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr. and member ministers and ministries.

We will introduce the concept of Spiritual association (mentoring) and fathering (covering) by:
· Revealing the master keys of spiritual and ministerial excellence (chiefly accountability, responsibility and availability)

· Providing practical resources for the improvement of both the spiritual and business side of ministry

· Providing a network of pastoral care, discipleship and leadership through small group ministry within the association

· Placing each member of LTMA into a Circle of Vision, (small group) and under the care of a Master Vision Bearer

· Connecting the entire LTMA family by a network of conference calls for "touch", impartation and prayer.

Who Should join LTMA?

Any one who is or feels that God is leading them to a life, in one of gifting such as prophet, evangelist, teacher, pastor, or apostle.  You may not be full time yet, but you feel that is where you are headed.  You must be  a licensed or ordained minister to join LTMA.

How will LTMA enhance the call of God on my life?

When God called you into the ministry, He knew exactly what He was doing.  He called YOU because He could use your personality and talents.  There is no other you.  There is a unique ministry for you.  LTMA will help you find your niche in ministry.

LTMA is founded upon the ideas of accountability, responsibility, and availability.  Many times accountability is mistakenly used for control over others.  Accountability is important, but it's not meant to be a form of control.  Dr. Thompson often makes the statement " I will submit to authority, but not to control."

LTMA promotes accountability to prepare you to be responsible with what God has already instructed you to do.  You will then be ready and available for what great vision God has planned for you.

Ultimately LTMA is only successful when there is growth in your ministry!

What methods will LTMA use to enhance the Call of God on my Life?

LTMA will use technology to enhance the spiritual connection that you desire.  LTMA is knit together by a network of tele-conference calls. Each Circle of Vision holds a monthly conference call for pastoral care and networking. Additionally, LTMA holds a monthly Visionary conference call so that
Dr. Thompson can address, instruct and impart into the membership on a monthly basis.

This LTMA website will be a central point of gathering and releasing information to help enhance you call in ministry.  You will have access to material not regularly available to the public such as Dr. Thompson's offertory notes and messages, Sunday and Wednesday messages, and other material as it becomes available.

What is the process to join LTMA and how do I start the process?

The process is very thorough.  Because LTMA is based on the concepts of Dedication, Sanctification, and Consecration, the organization will make sure that each applicant is ready to adhere to the principles of commitment to the call of God (Dedication), set apart for the work of God (Sanctification), and realize the awesome honor and privilege it is to be called by God (Consecration).

To do this, each applicant will have to complete the following in this order:

     - complete LTMA application (click here to download)

     - complete interview

     - pay membership fees ($500 per year - {Application fee of $250.00 included within the 1st year of membership fees} )
